Reclaiming the Tenth Amendment

The Tenth Amendment was gravely damaged by the Progressive and New Deal movements’ expansion of government control over economic activity, through “cooperative” federal-state programs, and the profusion of government-created monopolies and cartels. This panel focuses on ways to reduce the disastrous intermingling of federal and state functions, and on how to eliminate barriers to competition at state and federal level, and thereby reduce the constituency for federal overreach.
