The panel will discuss the next stage in ensuring a corrections systems that keeps Texas streets safe. The 2007 reforms to Texas criminal justice policy have been wildly successful and made Texas a national model for criminal justice reform. But more work needs to done to ensure that we are maximizing public safety in Texas.
