Local Choice: A New Idea for Freedom in Texas Education

Texas continues to lag behind other states in the area of school choice, as the 83rd Texas Legislature demonstrated how difficult it is, for a variety of reasons, to bring parental choice to Texas. This panel will examine the potential of local school choice programs, established at a district or regional level, and how such programs might impact Texas students, as well as our education system as a whole.
